J Elaine is responsible for the development of digital elevation model and gridded datasets, and for the efficient and effective delivery of RIMES’ earthquake and tsunami services.

J Elaine has more than 10 years of experience in her field, having worked for private companies as a photogrammetric engineer and geospatial analyst, and for the Philippines' National Mapping and Resource Information Authority as remote sensing technologist. She holds a Master of Engineering in Remote Sensing and GIS from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering from University of the Philippines.

Elouie Lepiten

Instrumentation Specialist

Elouie is responsible for installation and maintenance of remote and telemetered seismic, sea level, weather, and water level observing stations, and telecommunications support for providing tsunami services.

Prior to joining RIMES, he worked with Shin Satellite PLC on monitoring and control of satellite links, satellite communication system design and implementation, and supervision of 24/7 satellite communications support to clients.

Elouie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from University of San Carlos, Philippines. He completed a special program on telecommunications at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.

Jeiann Ermac

Systems Administrator

As Systems Administrator, Jeiann supports RIMES computing systems, and contributes to decision-support system development.

Prior to joining RIMES, she worked in the public and private sectors in the Philippines as software engineer, data processor, and programmer.

Jeiann has Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Visayas State University, Leyte, Philippines.
