Project Description:
The project aims to establish Monsoon Forums to enhance utility of seasonal climate forecasts, and to identify, through a participatory process, climate change issues affecting agriculture, food security, and livelihoods in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar. Key activities include landscaping of institutions and their decision and policy frameworks; identification of opportunities for climate risk management; technical assistance to NMHSs in convening monsoon forums; and stakeholder consultations to present study outcomes, take stock of ongoing and planned initiatives, identify and agree on key issues, and set initial directions for further work
