Itesh leads systems research, development, and management for RIMES’ earthquake, tsunami, weather, flood, climate, and capacity building services. He guides and supervises the planning, design, development, testing, and validation of new systems, solutions, and processes that meet early warning user needs and requirements effectively and efficiently. He also leads the implementation of the Decision Support Systems, Impact based forecasting, data mining and analytics along with the regional data-sharing arrangement with RIMES member and collaborating states.
Itesh has more than 15 years of experience in decision support systems development, data security, mining, with previous engagements with Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (Thailand) and Mindfire Solutions (India).
Itesh holds a Doctor’s degree in Engineering in Disaster Preparedness Mitigation and Management and master’s degree in Engineering major in Information and Communication Technologies from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
